HOW TO USE WAX MELTS

Using Wax Melts

Here's a step-by-step guide to using wax melts effectively:

  1. Break a Piece: Depending on the size of your wax melter, break off one or two pieces from the wax melt package.

  2. Place the Piece: Gently place the wax melt piece on the dish or tray of your wax melter. Avoid overfilling, as this may result in the wax overflowing.

  3. Heat Activation: Turn on your wax melter or light suitable unsecnted tea lights, and let it warm up. The heat will gradually melt the wax and release its fragrance into the air.

  4. Your wax will never dissipate, only the fragrance will.  Once you do not smell it anymore, it is done and can be replaced with another piece.  Depending on many variables, like size of room, strength of scent and your nose to name a few, each piece from our standard clamshells can last at least 3 reburns if burning all day!

BONUS TIP!

Maintaining Your Wax Melter

To prolong the life of your wax melts and ensure a safe experience, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Regular Cleaning: Once the fragrance dissipates, allow the wax to cool and solidify. Then, remove the solid wax or use a cotton ball to soak it up. Clean the dish or tray before adding new wax melts.

  2. Use lower to heat to melt them slowly, to release the scent subtly.  Then turn up the heat to fully melt and throw more scent out.
